What I’ve listed above (and on the previous page) are some of the common symptoms, or results, of being exposed – especially in the early years of our lives – to repeated emotional or physical abuse, neglect, or traumatic events. With shell-shock or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), it’s generally easier to identify the traumatic event that affected us. With complex PTSD, things are a little different: we often find it difficult to pin down what went wrong in our lives, and how it might have affected us.

The good news is that with hypnotherapy we can work on changing those limiting beliefs and unhelpful behavioural patterns so that our present and future looks brighter than our past. I would like to accompany you on your journey – from feeling like a victim to feeling like a survivor – and beyond, to thriving and to flourishing in life.
